It's one of the most popular day trips from Toronto. Below is a list of top tourist attractions in and around Niagara Falls region that you will absolutely want to add to your bucket list.

Niagara Falls (of course!)

Niagara Falls is considered to be one of the most mesmerizing natural wonders of the world. Nearly, six million cubic feet of water flows every single minute over the walls around the falls, exploding into a mist of clouds. You can easily hop on one of the boat cruise rides - popularly named ‘Maiden of the Mist’ which takes you right into the centre of the falls. Alternatively, if you have the budget for it, you can purchase a helicopter ride that takes you over and behind the falls to see the stunning views from a bird’s eye perspective. In the evening, you can enjoy a colourful light show reflecting right on the falls.

Clifton Hill

Located right next to the falls, Clifton Hill is a top tourist destination street filled with restaurants, entertainment, games, and fun activities. Some of the top attractions include, Niagara’s sky wheel ride, Niagara Speedway for Go-Kart lovers, Dinosaur Adventure miniature golf course, wax museum, arcade and many more! Clifton has a full day’s worth of activities and variety of food that will get your taste buds going.

Skylon Tower

Located a short way from Clifton Hill, Skylon Tower offers an incredible fine dining experience at 775 feet above the ground, overlook the Niagara Falls. Along with access to an observation deck, you can choose to dine between Revolving Dining Room Restaurant or the Summit Suite Buffet Dining Room to experience the incredible dining over the falls. The Revolving Dining Room automatically rotates 360 degrees every single hour, giving you the opportunity to see the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, The American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.

White Water Walk

A short 5-minute drive down the falls, you will find this hidden gem of an attraction called the White Water Walk. To enjoy this attraction you will have to take an elevator ride down to a tunnel, which leads you to a fascinating view of large rapids. For context, rapids are referred to shallow areas with a fast-flowing water stream. You can first hand see the stunning power of nature along a boardwalk edging the falls. Through your walk you will have the opportunity to come up and close to the rapids alongside two observation areas.
