The Museum on the Boyne, in Alliston, contains a variety of structures, including an agricultural fair house, a log cabin, and a barn. Clothing, tools and equipment, military objects, furniture, photos and records are among the items housed in the houses, which represent life in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Throughout the year, the museum provides guided and self-guided tours, adult activities, children's programmes, and events.

Picnic shelters, greenspace, beach areas, forested areas, boat rentals, a general store, shower and toilet facilities, campgrounds, a laundromat, hiking trails, an outdoor pool, and boat launches are all available at Earl Rowe Provincial Park, which is located just east of New Tecumseth. Swimming, picnicking, fishing, boating, canoeing/kayaking, hiking, biking, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing are all popular activities in the park. A pool, a pavilion, beach volleyball fields, a reservoir, greenspace, treed areas, a walking track, and restrooms are all part of the Tottenham Conservation Area. Tecumseth South Central Public School, Tecumseth Beeton Elementary School, Alliston Union Public School, Banting Memorial High School, Tottenham Public School, Ernest Cumberland Elementary School, St. James School, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School, St. Paul's Catholic School, and Boyne River Public School are only a few of the schools available in New Tecumseth.Since the area lacks post-secondary options, residents must drive to neighbouring communities to attend Georgian College, Humber College, or Seneca College.

Economy

Retail trade, manufacturing, construction, wholesale trade, transportation and warehousing, administrative services, educational services, health care and social assistance, and accommodation and food services are all major industries in New Tecumseth. A Canadian Forces Base, the Simcoe Muskoka District Catholic School Board, the Simcoe County District Health Unit, the Town of New Tecumseth, Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Honda of Canada Mfg.
